How Does it Work?

ReelBacker™ is the ultimate calculated backing line replacement solution that is quickly installed and easily removed when it isn't needed. We have done all the calculations so that you don't have to guess when spooling line.

ReelBacker is a flexible TPU part that is designed to be a press fit onto a spinning reel spool. It easily flexes open and is then able to be pressed firmly around the spool ensuring a non-slip uniform new size shallow spool perfect for smaller diameter lines. "ReelBacker" emboss acts as grip on fishing line ensuring a tight grip.

 

 

Installation Notes:

1. Remove the spool prior to installation for ease of holding and to eliminate the possibility of bending the reel spindle.
2. Ensure "ReelBacker" is upright when installed on the spool. They are designed to interface with the spool with the wording upright.
3. When flexing them around the spool, start on one end and slide your thumb or finger firmly around the spool ensuring the ReelBacker is seated tight all the way around the spool. The open ends of the ReelBacker should meet with no gap, or with a small allowable gap.
